GEME Interactive Guide
Product Truth
Welcome to GEME. Your device is ready out of the box—no complex setup required.
It is crucial to understand that GEME is NOT a batch dehydrator. It is a Continuous Aerobic Bio-processor. The hardware exists to control the temperature, airflow, and agitation, providing the perfect environment for the Kobold™ microbiology to break down organic waste continuously.
Activation (First Step)
Because GEME relies on living microbes, your only required action is waking them up.
- 1.Placement & Power: Place on a hard, flat surface. Both models feature adjustable feet to ensure stability on uneven floors. Leave at least 10cm (4 inches) of space around the machine for proper airflow, then plug it into a power outlet.
- 2.Add Kobold: The Kobold substrate is included in a separate bag. Open the bag and pour the entire contents into the chamber.
- 3.Hydrate the Microbes: Open the lid. Pour exactly 500ml of water evenly over the dry Kobold substrate.
- 4.The Stability Window: Close the lid and wait 6-8 hours. Do not add any food waste during this time. This allows the microbes to fully awaken in a temperature-controlled environment and reach a stable biological state.
Daily Operation
GEME is a continuous-feed system. Adopt an "add-and-forget" habit. You can open the lid and drop in kitchen scraps at any time, day or night.
Smart Features (Terra 2)
- 1.Daily Capacity: Up to 2kg per day. Limit single feeds to 1kg max. Never exceed the Max Fill Line inside the bin.
- 2.Hands-Free Lid: Features a transparent lid with a foot-kick sensor and a manual button. It automatically opens and closes, freeing your hands.
- 3.Child Lock & Safety: The stirring mechanism stops immediately the moment the lid is opened, ensuring safety for children and pets.
- 4.Fully Intelligent Moisture Control: If the interior is too wet, the machine automatically initiates dehumidification (you can also manually press the Turbo button). If the bed is too dry, the screen will prompt you to add 200ml of water and pause feeding.
Industrial Controls (GEME PRO)
- Daily Capacity: Up to 5kg per day. Limit single feeds to 1kg max. Never exceed the Max Fill Line inside the bin.
- Safety: Open-lid stop protection ensures the stirring arms halt instantly when the lid is opened.
- Manual Optimization: Equipped with dedicated Dehumidify and Deodorize buttons. If the interior is too wet or has an odor, lightly press the respective button to activate smart extraction.
Golden Rule: Moisture Balance
Always drain excess liquids before adding waste. The bed should feel like a damp sponge, not a swamp.
Harvesting Output
Unlike dehydrators that yield dry, sterile flakes, GEME produces an Active Compost Base (Soil Amendment). It is moist, rich, and teeming with beneficial life.
When and How to Harvest
When the mixing blades are no longer visible, it's time to harvest. Remove the top portion of the compost until the mixing shaft is exposed again. Never empty the bin completely. Always leave this bottom layer as it contains the active microbes needed to digest your next batch.
How to Use the Output
- 1.Mix, Don't Plant Directly: Because it is highly active, do not plant seeds directly into pure GEME output. Mix it with regular soil at a ratio of 1:10.
- 2.Return the Big Chunks: Because GEME runs continuously, some newer scraps or harder items (like stalks) might not be fully broken down when you harvest. Simply pick these larger chunks out and toss them back into GEME to continue processing.
Routine Care (Low Maintenance)
GEME is designed for low-frequency maintenance. You do not need to scrub the interior tub, nor do you need to replace expensive carbon filters monthly.
Filter Screen Cleaning
GEME uses permanent metal-ion oxidation. You only need to occasionally pull out the rear exhaust filter screen, rinse off the physical dust, dry it completely, and put it back to ensure good airflow.
Kobold Boost
Kobold microbes self-replicate. You only need to add a Boost Pack (20g) if you've just done a massive harvest and want to quickly restore peak processing speed, or if the system stalls.
Experiencing an Anomaly?
If you see an Error Code, hear grinding noises, or notice a persistent ammonia smell, skip the manual and use our engineering diagnostic tool.
