Boost when you want
faster cycles.
Reset only when performance drops
- ● No daily dosing: Kobold is self-replicating during normal use.
- ● Boost Packs (Optional): Use after harvest or for faster cycles.
- ● Starter Reset: Only for major slowdowns — not routine maintenance.
GUIDE: WHAT IS YOUR SITUATION?
Pick one — we'll recommend the right pack.
*Boost Packs are optional. Most households only consider them after the first compost removal — or when they want faster cycles.

Starter Reset (1.5kg)
The original large-volume culture pack included with new machines.
Industrial Thermophiles
Heat-tolerant aerobic cultures
Adaptive Biology
Handles salty, oily, mixed food
Safe by Nature
Selected microbes, not engineered pathogens
Common Questions
Do I really need to add this?
For daily use, no. Your GEME is self-replicating. However, after harvesting compost, you remove a portion of the colony. Adding a Boost Pack restores density quickly for faster decomposition.
When should I start using Boost Packs?
You typically don't need them until after your first compost harvest. If you notice decomposition slowing down (taking >24h) after that, it's a good time to add one.
How do I choose Quarterly vs Annual?
It depends on how much you value consistency. The Annual pack (24 count) offers the best value per pack and covers a full year of maximum speed. The Quarterly pack is great for trying it out.
What's the difference between Boost and Reset?
Boost (20g) is a small dose to speed up an existing active pile. Starter Reset (1.5kg) is a massive volume of culture media used to completely restart the machine from scratch if the biology has failed.
